San Francisco Skydiving School

Once you graduate from one of the accompanying USPA approved San Francisco Skydiving School network location instruction courses, you will understand the ins and outs of exactly how to handle any circumstance beneath a parachute at miles above the earth. The following describes the two most refined educational programs available for brand new skydivers in the San Francisco area.

Accelerated Freefall First Level

Beginning with 6 thorough hours on the ground to offer you guidance on manipulating the canopy, landing methods, releasing your main parachute, arranging your body for proper arch in freefall, and sticking to aircraft exiting procedures. Two jump masters from a local USPA certified dropzone (skydive center) will be delegated to you and will ordinarily remain by your side throughout the opening stages. During the near 60-second time frame that you are in freefall, safeguards are considerably enhanced by direct in-air jump master supervision. Perhaps by radio or another mobile device, the instructors will land before you and walk you through the wind travel pattern and flare prior to landing.

Accelerated Freefall Level 2, 3, & 4

During the course of level 2, you will depart the plane with two San Francisco Skydiving School network jump masters, and continue to uncover the primary skills for body movement in flight. These deal with the countdown before leaving the aircraft, 90-degree turns, persistent circle of awareness (CoA), holding a reliable body arch, and heeding the pull procedure.

The third step in your course will proceed to monitor the Circle of Awareness and various other basics during freefall, including the practice touch ahead of a potentially moderately reduced altitude pull. As your San Francisco Skydiving network jump masters judge that you have certainly elevated your capabilities, your jump masters will let go of, but at all instances be close by your side; you'll then encounter the sensation of speed on your first true solo adventure.

Past the halfway position in the first seven jumps towards your A-license, maneuvers start to get attention-grabbing. Heading control and turns will continue to be crucial, along with forward movement to ensure that your trainer recognizes that you're consistent; only one jump master will be assessing your performance.

San Francisco Skydiving School Level 5, 6, & 7

Building up a brand new skill while still exhibiting the previous set, you will undertake a full turn (360 degrees); as with the previous level, you shall only need one skydiving coach to direct your progression.

Level 6! Finally! It's only your second to very last jump, but it will be the last one including a coach ! Students will learn more advanced maneuvers as you nosedive away from the aircraft; prepare to recuperate from planned risky body positions, (dart across an even field of vision) demonstrate delta tracking, and flip in freefall.

One of the most exhilarating was kept for last! Bring it all together for the last jump, and make it happen without any skydiving coach (the same way anyone at one of the San Francisco area skydiving schools does it). Video is a terrific addition to have during this dive, but as with any jump, it is an optional extra (depending on the diving instructor). Do 18 additional jumps (out of 25 required, and you should be ready to request your A-license!
